Location
The Finca Son Oliver is a rustic farmhouse built in the XVIII century,
which was restored and preserving his old style and structure. The house was an old winery with cellar
where you can find an old feeder for the animals, the old dairy with its appliances and the old garage
where they kept in the old horse carriages. Also the house has a big and well kept garden for take a walk
and on the main facade you see an old sundial.
Son Oliver lies in the southeast of the island, at 3km from Felanitx and 10km from Manacor,
the second biggest city of Mallorca, famous for the pearls and furniture industry.
Visit the town of Felanitx on Sunday morning and take a walk to the typical market. Visit the Parish church
Sant Miquel (1551 – 1603) and the hermitage of Sant Salvador, from where you can enjoy nice views to
the interior of the island. The sanctuary of Mare de Déu de Sant Salvador is situated in the mount of
Sant Salvador (494m). At the top of the mount you find a Christ Statue (1928) and next to the mountain
you have “El Picot” with an impressive stone cross (1957). In Felanitx you have shopping possibilities
and a great variety of restaurants and bars.
The nearest beaches are at 15km.
The golf players will love this Finca because it is very close to the golf course Vall d´Or.
Accommodations
The Finca has 2.500mª and the house 167mª + terraces, distributed in 2 floors with
6 bedrooms, as follow:
Ground Floor
When you entry in the house you have the entrance hall with sofas.
There are 3 bedrooms:
1 bedroom with bed of 140cm.
1 bedroom with bed of 135cm.
1 bedroom with twin-beds of 90cm.
1 complete bathroom with tube.
The living-room with fireplace has Satellite TV, DVD, CD etc.
The kitchen has direct access to the inner courtyard and is fully equipped and
provided of: fridge, gas cooker and oven, dishwasher, microwave etc.
Between the kitchen and the living room you find the dinning-room with dinning table for 10 persons.
You also have a laundry with washing-machine etc. and 1 outside WC.
First Floor
You have a living room with sofas and Satellite TV which invites to relax.
There are 3 bedrooms:
1 Suite with twin-beds of 105cm each one with bureau, like a reading room and with nice views to the pool
+ 1 complete bathroom with tube en suite.
1 bedroom with twin-beds 90cm each one.
1 bedroom with twin-beds 90cm each one.
1 complete bathroom with tube.
Outside Area
Undoubtely the best of the house is the outside area with the big,
cultivated garden of 2.000mª with palms, plants and native fruit trees and the splendid private pool
(12m x 6m) and with depth of (0.80m x 2.20m).
You have Barbecue.
